"Here's the problem mom...."

My little three year old, Claire, has a very big personality. Those of you who know her, know what I mean. She is dynamic, intense and so strong and SO sweet. Yesterday, she and Elise and Elise's friend were caught sneaking sugar from the cupboard. I told them that was a BIG no no. So, when I found Claire sneaking sugar again today, I really gave her a scolding. She sat there and looked at me with those big, beautiful eyes. When I finished she said (with a very serious face), "Here's the problem mom, I just like sugar."
