Discovery Gateway Fieldtrip

We had lots of fun on Friday with our homeschool group at Discovery Gateway! Thanks to everyone who organized it!

There was this GIAMONGOUS beehive that was a hit with the kids. They had to put all these little balls in tubes that sucked them high above and then deposited them somewhere else. Anna especially loved this.

Then there was a kid town. The girls LOVED playing house and store. Sam loved working the crain. "INE! (mine!)"--Anna said this to every kid who came near her baby and stroller. Elise quickly organized the house and had all the other kids taking orders from her.

We had a brief stint on TV. Do you see the screaming baby on the right? (Bottom picture)

Future hellicopter pilots? That would be cool.

Robot-building fun!

What a fun place! That is too cute about Anna and the stroller and the baby and anytime anyone started to come close and saying "ine! ine!" that is precious:) Reminds me of all my nursery kids... there is just something about baby and stroller:)

Wish we lived near a place like that. Instead we get to study cows out on the range. That gets pretty boring you know?

My kids DREAM of living on a farm. They want chickens and goats so badly. And LAND and FORTS and TREES to climb and build in and hay to jump in. The grass is always greener, eh? :D
