It's been quite an experience to see Elise be transformed from a towhead to a brunette in the show. I thought I'd share the process with you.
Here we are at the beginning. Elise with her brunette friend.

Her hair piece is braided into her natural hair. It takes about 20 minutes. The lady that does it is a pro. Once the pieces are in place, they spray the top of her hair with colored hairspray.

Annnnnd....here's the finished brunette!

After the show, her hair is really crazy. She loves it!

Sam is so happy that he doesn't need to have his hair done. It's getting pretty long and shaggy. That's his contribution to the play. Here we are as angels. (We wear our Israelite costumes underneath the angel costumes.)

Next week is opening night! We are so excited!

Ooooh thanks for showing us the transformation of Elise in the show. She looks great as a brunette! The picture of her hair all crazy is so beautiful! Many times people are so much more beautiful than their pictures but you seem to capture people in their natural beauty. You have done this with Elise on many occasions. And so, how do you do it?
It's amazing how a change of hair color can really alter a person's appearance. She looks so much older! Good luck with the show!!
Oh, Sonja! I can't wait so see it! The set and costumes look amazing! We're coming for the matinee the Saturday after Thanksgiving.
good luck with opening night. what a great experience.
and i'm with anonymous-- your photos really capture people's beauty and personality so well.
You won't be able to see us in the audience, but we will be there on the Friday of Thanksgiving week. We are coming all the way from California just to see you! Well, maybe there are a few other reasons, too, but we'll be there!
Elise looks absolutely beautiful! Good luck to all of you!
Holy hairdoo! That is one serious makeover! I also think that she looks older with those long brown locks, maybe it is because she is posing so properly. Thanks for showing the process.
Hmmm, I'm not totally convinced that Sam is growing his hair out for the good of the show.
